About the Doctor
Dr. Jalil Ahari is an Associate Professor of Medicine in the Division of Pulmonology, Critical Care, and Sleep Medicine at the Medical Faculty Associates (MFA) in Washington, D.C. With a career defined by academic excellence and clinical dedication, Dr. Ahari also serves as the Program Director for the Pulmonology and Critical Care Fellowship Program — a position through which he has been recognized with the “Faculty of the Year” award for seven consecutive years.
He received his medical degree from Shiraz University of Medical Sciences and completed a residency in Occupational Medicine at Tehran University of Medical Sciences. He then pursued an Internal Medicine residency at Prince George’s Hospital Center in Maryland, followed by a highly regarded fellowship in Pulmonology and Critical Care at The George Washington University Hospital.
