Dr. Hamid Emamekhoo is a board-certified medical oncologist and faculty member in the Division of Hematology, Medical Oncology, and Palliative Care at the University of Wisconsin–Madison. He specializes in the treatment and research of genitourinary cancers, including cancers of the kidney, bladder, prostate, and testicles.
Dr. Emamekhoo received his medical degree from Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences in Tehran, Iran. He completed a postdoctoral research fellowship at the University of California, San Francisco, where he focused on molecular and gene-targeting studies. His medical residency was completed at Good Samaritan Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio, followed by a prestigious fellowship in Hematology/Oncology at the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio.
