Morteza (Morey) Mirkarimi in San Diego
Morteza (Morey) Mirkarimi, MD, has been providing General Practice and Family Medicine care to the Clairemont community of San Diego for over forty years.
Dr. Mirkarimi is fluent in Persian, Pashto, and, also, is one of the areas immigration exam specialists.
Dr. Mirkarimi earned his medical degree at the Tehran University of Medical Sciences in Tehran, Iran, in 1968. Dr. Mirkarimi then completed his residency at Pahlavi University Hospital through the University of Tehran in 1976, and then completed another residency at the V.A. Wadsworth Hospital through the University of California – Los Angeles in 1983.
Throughout his career, Dr. Mirkarimi has taken care of all the primary care needs of his community, diagnosing and treating disease, and ordering laboratory and radiological testing in the care of his patients. Dr. Mirkarimi is taking new patients and also offers telemedicine to his patients.
When he’s not working, Dr. Mirkarimi enjoys spending time with his wife, their children, and their grandchildren at their home in La Jolla, California.
