Peyman Kabolizadeh

Dr. Peyman Kabolizadeh is a fellowship-trained, board-certified radiation oncologist with deep expertise in proton therapy and advanced cancer treatments. He currently serves as the Medical Director of Radiation Oncology at the MemorialCare Todd Cancer Institute at Long Beach Medical Center in California. His patient care philosophy centers around providing compassionate, multidisciplinary, and high-quality cancer care tailored to the needs of each patient.

Dr. Kabolizadeh earned both his M.D. and Ph.D. from Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine. He completed his residency in radiation oncology at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC), followed by a prestigious fellowship in proton therapy at Harvard Medical School and Massachusetts General Hospital. He is board-certified in radiation oncology by the American Board of Radiology.

Before joining MemorialCare, Dr. Kabolizadeh served as the Director of the Beaumont Proton Therapy Center at Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine. He also held academic leadership roles as Director of the post-graduate proton therapy fellowship and Associate Director of the radiation oncology residency program.
