Nika Omid

Dr. Nika Omid, MD, is a board-certified ophthalmologist and eye surgeon based in Irvine, California. She provides advanced, patient-centered care in comprehensive ophthalmology with a focus on cataract and eyelid surgery. With extensive training and experience in laser cataract procedures and cosmetic eyelid treatments, Dr. Omid is known for combining surgical precision with compassionate care.

Dr. Omid graduated Magna Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa from the University of California, San Diego, earning her undergraduate degrees in Biochemistry and Cellular Biology with Honors in 2001. She continued her medical education at UC San Diego School of Medicine, where she received the prestigious Dean’s Scholarship and a National Eye Institute research grant. After completing her internship in Internal Medicine at UC San Diego, she pursued residency training in ophthalmology at the Gavin Herbert Eye Institute, University of California, Irvine.
