Alireza Falahati

Dr. Alireza Falahati, MD, FACE, is a board-certified endocrinologist, interventional thyroidologist, and the founder and medical director of Utah Endocrinology Associates with multiple locations across Salt Lake City, American Fork, and Ogden, Utah. He provides expert care for a wide range of endocrine disorders, with a clinical focus on diabetes, osteoporosis, and thyroid disease. Dr. Falahati is recognized nationwide for his advanced thyroid nodule ablation treatments, offering both Radiofrequency Ablation (RFA) and Microwave Ablation (MWA) to help patients avoid unnecessary thyroid surgery.

Originally from Iran, Dr. Falahati earned his medical degree from the University of Vienna Medical School in Austria in 1994. He then moved to the United States, completing his internship at Reading Hospital and Medical Center in Pennsylvania, followed by internal medicine residency and chief residency at Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Dr. Falahati completed his subspecialty fellowship training in endocrinology, diabetes, and metabolism at the world-renowned Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. Since then, he has built a reputation as a leading specialist in his field, consistently recognized for his clinical excellence, research, and patient advocacy.
