Ali Borhan

Dr. Ali Borhan is a board-certified urologist based in Scottsdale and Phoenix, Arizona. Originally from New York, he attended Cornell University and earned his medical degree from Albany Medical College, where he was inducted into the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. He completed his residency in Surgery and Urology at the University of Rochester and was among the first urologists in the country to receive advanced training in robotic and minimally invasive surgical techniques.

As a pioneer in robotic urological surgery, Dr. Borhan has one of the largest case volumes in Arizona. He regularly trains other surgeons across the West Coast in robotic and laparoscopic techniques and is well known for his commitment to patient care that is rooted in compassion, integrity, and accessibility.

Dr. Borhan is a Clinical Assistant Professor at Creighton University School of Medicine (Arizona campus), where he teaches and mentors medical students. He also teaches residents in surgery, internal medicine, and family practice, and serves as an instructor in a Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Fellowship Program.

Dr. Borhan is widely recognized as a medical expert and is frequently invited to speak on local and national news outlets including CBS, ABC, NBC, PBS, and Fox News. He has participated in expert panels with the Arizona Department of Health Services and Arizona Diamondbacks, addressing men’s health and prostate cancer awareness. He also leads free community health screenings and public seminars in the Phoenix area.

Outside the clinic, Dr. Borhan is passionate about fitness and wellness. He enjoys hiking Camelback Mountain with his two German Shepherds, practicing yoga, swimming, and training for triathlons. He actively supports several local charities including the Phoenix Heart Ball, Best Buddies Arizona, and Night for Life.
